Snowshoeing at Moose Creek Reservoir

This weekend we went snowshoeing at Moose Creek Reservoir. I dont think that we needed the snowshoes because the snow wasnt exactly soft........ Toward the end of the trip I was getting a little clumsy and I guess you could say that I enjoyed being on my back-end rather than my feet :-)

Me and Cameron brought the sled and found some small hills to sled on. It was so much fun! I was trying not to wet my pants I was laughing so hard!

OK, so that crash was embarrasing..........

Cameron had the best slides whereas I was always crashing and going off course!

We were actually sledding off this hill straight onto the frozen reservoir. We walked across the whole thing. Mom and me were pretty unsure about walking across frozen water but we were fine. No one fell through. While we were walking across we saw tracks of 3 or 4 wolves (we assumed they were wolves because there were no visible human tracks indicating that it was a large pet, and they were much too large to be coyote, which we also saw many of). The tracks were about the size of my hand! When it started getting dark, I got a little nervous knowing that there were animals like that in the area.

I wasnt exactly on the sled when it went down the hill.

Sledding by the outhouse. This was the first ride of the day! It was soooooo much fun I could hardly stand it.
